Light a Light of Hope

Join us on Saturday 13 December at the Riverside Precinct for the illumination of Country Hope’s Tree Of Hope during Christmas with the Con 2025

Now in its third year, the Tree of Hope has become a treasured part of the city’s Christmas celebrations - a symbol of remembrance and hope - that continues to glow every evening through to late January.

Through the Light a Light of Hope campaign, community members can dedicate a light on the tree for just $10 (tax deductible), with all proceeds helping Country Hope provide vital financial and emotional support to local families with children facing cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.

Each light represents a personal dedication – whether in memory of loved one lost, in celebration of someone who has survived a life-threatening illness, or simply to honour someone deeply loved.

When purchasing your light, you have the option of sharing the name of who you are dedicating your light to, for them to be shared here on our webpage.
