The Griffith Garden Festival is a wonderful community event organised by Griffith City Council.  Each year avid gardeners register their garden in the event to be open to public viewing.

This year Mrs. Every Debortoli opened her spectacular 14 acres of garden to raise much-needed funds for Country Hope.  The garden was open for public viewing for three full days.

Country Hope volunteers served Devonshire teas, sandwiches and slices, sold pot plants and ran a raffle which was drawn on Saturday 14th October.

Raffle Prizes were

1st prize

Mower Blower and Edger Kit donated by Bunnings Warehouse Griffith plus $500 Gift Voucher donated by Griffith Bricks & Pavers

2nd Prize

Wooden Wheelbarrow made and donated by The Men’s Shed Griffith

3rd Prize

Hand Painted China Plate  donated by Barbara Dickson

The three-day event raised a grand $10,000 for Country Hope.  A very special thank you to Mrs. Emery Debortoli and all our wonderful volunteers that were involved.
